Coordinates the work of individual AA members and groups who carry the message to alcoholics in treatment facilities, sets up means of bridging the gap from treatment to AA and works to clarify what AA can and cannot do, with the Traditions to help alcoholics in treatment. The basic functions are: to take AA meetings into local facilities, encourage group participation, coordinate temporary contact programs, purchase and distribute literature for treatment facility groups.
