Accessibility applies to all alcoholics in A.A. It matters not what the difficulty is. It may be mental health, physical, geographical, cultural, ethnic, spiritual, or emotional. The Accessibility Committee assists these individuals, as is possible, so they may attend A.A. meetings. The committee is encouraged to keep the area committee and the Central Office informed of what they are doing. Working with PI/CPC can prove beneficial. We would benefit from remembering our Responsibility Declaration: “When anyone, anywhere reaches out for help, I want the hand of A.A. always to be there. And for that: I am responsible.” (Source: A.A. Guidelines on Accessibility for All Alcoholics)
